Nefertari (Nefertari Merytmut)

Nefertari (Nefertari Merytmut) c. (1300–1250 BC) was the Great Royal Wife (or principal wife) of Ramesses the Great. She is one of the best known Egyptian queens, next to Cleopatra, Nefertiti and Hatshepsut. Nefertari’s origins are unknown.

It is a theory that Nefertiry Meryetmut(Nefertari)may have been a close relative of Ay.
A faience knob was found among her funerary equipment depicting his cartouche.
Given his posthumus state this is suggestive of a close connection. Nefertiry Meryetmut may also have been a close relative of Nefertiti. As both have been depicted with a rose hue to their complexion.
Nefertitti has long mooted as a relative of Ay.
However there is no definative evidence.
