Water in Egypt

I think a lot of people suspect the tap water in Egypt. Someone like me is always wondering about the tap water if it is okay to drink or not. I keep thinking about this probelem for some time, then, I reached some ideas. we can distill that water by a distillator. however, this can cost a high price of a distillator. water filter may be good but I think you should change the filter after about 15 days (?) . I think the best thing is to bring a water distillator from the stores in Qasr-al-aini street.

Places to eat in Egypt

I don't like to advertise for some places that does not worth it. honestly, I don't trust restaurant in Egypt. I like to get my food from big super markets but still that is not nice. Honestly, I like eating and moving so I am not fat or thin. however, the types of food I will or can eat bewilder my mind sometimes. Here I am going to write some tips for eating in Egypt. If you can cook yourself, please do. If not try to choose something that has just been finished on a takeaway place to guarantee that the food is fresh. Take care of the fried stuff. However, those fried things are yummy but It is harmful especially with that non-fresh oil( I assume it is). Olive Oil is a good choice to use . There are a lot of brands in Egypt. I'm usually puzzled to make a choice out of all those brand. I think moderate price is usually working. Try to increase the Carbohydrates as I'm afraid to tell you that you sometimes may need to walk long distances in those Egyptian street(jungle...

how to be healthy in Egypt?

Strange question but still a good one. there are a lot of view points and I think I should tell my point of the present time. To be healthy in Egypt,  Don't care of all things going on because you can catch a disease if you think of all those stuff . In response to error, you have two choices. the first choice You can be quiet and that when you have no enough energy and you will usually find no response. the second choice is to shout and raise your voice and that can work, this will work. Don't take that view point serious as I must be kidding CIAO Auf Wiedersehen ma'salam

My old computer

Back to the 80s, while I was a child. I was excited by computers. I had my first computer which was commadore64  and I was playing  exciting classic games. It was a simple games but It was really amusing!  That old computer was broken down when I moved to Egypt, I tried to repair it but I failed. all those years passed and now we are in 2007, I find an easy way to emulate my computer to work as a commadore64 via a program known as com64 emulator [you can google it and find it in ccs 64 .com ]. It is available for download. It is a strange feeling when you find yourslef playing the old games again and refresh the childhood period. In 1980, There were no those computers or  internet in Egypt or elsewhere I think. Time passes and now we have mobile phones. if we are still alive, after 20 years we can talk about 2007 and take some memories of that ancient age. I think The more We grow, the more we see modern things. so then, I will stay like the ancient technology as It...

Fuul bel samna wel tamatem

I just had a bread with fuul belsamna. I squeezed two lemon although I think it is not common to put lemon into the samna fuul. I tried and I got a wonderful results. By the way, some people put some pieces of tomatoes ( tmatem) into the fuul and it ends up being more tasteful. Indeed, There are multiple ways one should prepare fuul by. I am going to write about some of them. 1- Fuul be sauce A certain sauce is added to the recipe which gives it characteristic odour and taste. 2-Fuul belbeed That would mean a full with Eggs. we can put wither strips of a boiled egg or an omelette. 3-Fuul bezeet alzayton That would mean a fuul with olive oil. this recipe would certainly reduce the cholestrol level due to Olive oil content. I'm finished with my fuul today. ttyl

3attaba ( Attaba) is a metro station. It is also a place where you can almost find every thing. You can find Old books, electronic instruments, compartments for repairing stuff, Clothes, Telephone machine, Furniture. You can also find high prices, low prices,or moderate prices with high , low or moderate qualities, I think Attaba in Arabic means the place where the doormat is located. It is a game name, I was playing it in the 80s. I don't know why I remember that today.  I may be eager for a burger sandwich. I made wonderful Burger sandwich ever !. Onions , cheese, some ketchup ( I say catch up ) and hot sauce. I would like to ad some Egyptian touch to the Burger sandwich. I may add a semi-burned fried onion ( Ta2leya تقلية ) to the sandwich. can I? Ah! Why don't add a taameya layer to that Burger sandwich or a dill plant. It can give a tasty flavour.

A blue sky, Blue water, green Garden, brown branches, yellow sun light, what would that be?

It looks like a riddle,  A place containing all the those colours is really a romantic one. In Egypt, I think I was able to see a lot of places collecting all those romantic colors. But stop, what is a romantic color, It is the colour which approach the hears, arouse the affections.I think those colours are the yellow, the blue, the green and the borwn which they are gathered into a place, this is a place where one can take a relief. I took my sony ericsson mobile and use it to record these incidents  in my life.

I remember my last tour last winter that was fabulous. *Having a fish Lunch in that restaurant in Dokki is superb. These things are what I like. nothing more I think.

Do you like Bouri Fish or Bulti fish?

I think I do like both of them. But I had to choose one. The bouri fish is quite big and has fishy odour and taste. I like to eat the parts that are near the liver and the abdomen area, unluckily when I returned to the home I found out that the Guy took that part out and put a spicy vegetables. As for the Bulti or Shabar fish, It is flat one. and it can be either fried or grilled. I prefer the grilled one after placing some wheat bran on its surface.

Lemon ( lamoon) or banzaheer

I just had a lemonade. I think it can be used as preservative for some food. Lemon had an antioxidant activity. It has vitamin C and Flavonoids. It can be added to Guava Juice to make a wonderful cocktail. Try It

Where to buy an apartment in Cairo?

One might ask where one should buy a flat in Cairo. I think It's a good investment. the real estate in Cairo is an earny benefit. The old well-known places like Zamalek, Agouza, Dokki, Heliopolis  and others are extremely crowded.  I think these area are  already done with people. so It is a wise idea to go for the new area like for examples the Rehap area, Madinaty ( or Madinati)  area, The El-sherouk ( Al-shouroq) area. However, I think One must have a car if he decided to go for these far areas. Shape Yahoo! in your own image. Join our Network Research Panel today!

Honey again mixed with water

There comes forth from their bellies (of the bees) a drink of varying color wherein is healing for men. Verily in this is indeed a sign for people who think." [16:68-69] Just read this When accompanied by mild water, honey diffuses into the bloodstream in 7 minutes. Its free sugar molecules make the brain function better since the brain is the largest consumer of sugar. Honey provides an important part of the energy needed by the body for blood formation. In addition, it helps in cleansing the blood. It has some positive effects in regulating and facilitating blood circulation. It also functions as a protection against capillary problems and arteriosclerosis. British researchers have discovered that honey slows the oxidation of 'bad' IDL cholesterol, which is responsible for causing arteriosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries. So Honey can fight against Colesterol. And the darker the honey, the better. Pure honey taken with food daily (instead of white sugar...

All Beef, Frank

I was sent this joke today. A man walks into the street and manages to get a taxi just going by. He gets into the taxi, and the cabbie says, 'Perfect timing. You're just like Frank.' Passenger: 'Who?' Cabbie: 'Frank Feldman. He's a guy who did everything right all the time. Like my coming along when you needed a cab, things happened like that to Frank Feldman every single time.' Passenger: 'There are always a few clouds over everybody.' Cabbie: 'Not Frank Feldman. He was a terrific athlete. He could have won the Grand-Slam at tennis. He could golf with the pros. He sang like an opera baritone and danced like a Broadway star and you should have heard him play the piano. He was an amazing guy.' Passenger: 'Sounds like he was something really special. Cabbie: 'There's more... He had a memory like a computer. Could remember everybody's birthday. He knew all about wine, which foods to order and which fork to eat t...
